As Human Resources Manager for the Quay West Resort and Spa Noosa, you will be an integral member of the hotel management team providing human resources direction and advice to the General Manager and hotel department heads.
In the role you will:
Lead and manage the provision of best practice HR advice
Manage the cycle of recruitment, induction, training and development, succession planning
Oversee and coordinate the performance management system
Manage grievance procedures and dispute resolution and take active steps to communicate and resolve any IR/ER issues.
Work with Regional HR Manager to roll-out strategic HR initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in human resources systems and procedures
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
Minimum 2 years Human Resource Management experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry sector
Working knowledge of workplace Health Safety and Environment practices and workplace rehabilitation procedures.
Excellent personal presentation and strong communication skills Sound knowledge of current workplace relations and employment legislation.
Strong leadership and influencing skills
