Travel consultant
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced full time travel consultant for our busy agency in Tewantin (near Noosa Qld). You will be required to assist new walk in clients and our existing local client base. You will also arrange holidays for our interstate clientelle via phone or email so good writing and phone skills are a must.
Applicants must be extremely well travelled, must love to talk travel, share their knowledge and be generous with their experience and time.
Tewantin Travel is also the head office for BYOkids …your family travel gurus ( http://www.byokids.com.au ) which is our family division. We have over 25 consultants Australia wide so you’ll need to be a team player and love a busy office environment.
A minimum of 3 years retail experience in the travel industry is required. Experience in groups or wholesale would be advantageous. Great phone and sales skills a must plus a positive fun nature is essential. We use galileo, crosscheck and calypsonet, recent experience with these systems would be advantageous. Experience at travelling with kids in tow would be an advantage!
