Job Description:
Natures Fruit Company (NFC) is a progressive grower owned organisation, packing and marketing sub-tropical fruit for shareholders around Australia. Commencing operations in 1988, NFC has well recognised brands with a strong presence in the domestic and export markets.
NFC is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic General Manager with proven skills in the following areas.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and encourage a structured approach to processes and activities within the business
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve, provide and implement recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive business performance
• High level of self motivation and a willingness to succeed
• Maintains high levels of integrity within all sectors of the business
• Willingness to take responsibility for actions and decisions taken
• Clear and concise oral communication skills with the ability to talk to individuals and at group levels
• Empathy for primary producers and the role they fulfill in the community
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
• Minimum of five years experience in a senior management position
Desirable
• Tertiary education in business/agribusiness management or similar
• Management experience in a horticultural/agricultural business related industry
• Experience in management of Human Resource functions
