Purchasing Officer, Electronics Industry, Sunshine Coast

Job Description:
Experienced Purchasing Officer to join a professional team on the Sunshine Coast.As Purchasing Officer you will be accountable for the purchasing and distributing of materials, equipment and supplies.
Your duties will include:
Ensuring the employer consistently has the right parts at the right time to continue production
Sourcing and managing relationships with suppliers Preparing and issuing purchase orders and change notices
Preparing and reviewing contracts, proposals and vendor agreements
Overseeing all activities related to procurement of a commodity, from intent to purchase through to delivery
Negotiating complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors
Developing and reviewing systems to ensure supplies arrive in a timely manner and meet quality and pricing expectations
Receiving all delivered goods, including unpacking, storing, managing paperwork and entering onto our system
Managing warranty repairs
To be successful in this position, you will come from a purchasing background, preferably from the electronics/electrical parts industry.
MS Access is highly regarded, intermediate level required.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, a real self starter who can use their initiative.
