Retail Store Manager
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced store manager to join our surf themed store in Noosa. Our store is a long established local icon relocating to blue chip Hastings Street premises – a retro inspired concept store featuring longboards, art, collectibles & hawaiiana.
We were born of a surf passion but choose to challenge traditional approaches to ranging. It’s a passion our team loves to share. This inspires us to compliment these offerings with our own Clothing and Board range painstakingly designed, manufactured and proudly offered up as a celebration of these values and a celebration of life itself.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to add your own flair and help build the store from the ground up. You will need to have a passion for the surf lifestyle, and be prepared to provide our global customers with a unique service, and motivate your staff to so the same.
What we need from you:
Proven experience as a retail store manager
Knowledge of surf boards
Proven ability to achieve sales, stock, and expense targets
Proven ability to manage stock ordering
Visual merchandising skills with a creative flair
Experience in building, training, managing and motivating a team
Excellent customer service skills and follow-through to close a sale
