As part of Total Fasteners, Meredith Distribution supplies an extensive range of fasteners and provides expertise, technical support, customised product sourcing and service second to none for the Mining, Construction, Fabrication and Maintenance industries throughout Australia. From nuts and bolts, to stainless products, power tools, adhesives, screws, plumbing products, paints, safety products right through to welding equipment, we truly are a ‘one stop shop’.
Right now, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated sales person to join our successful Kunda Park team.
In this role, you will be accountable for territory growth and customer satisfaction within a diverse region. This role guarantees that there is no shortage for opportunity to grow existing business and build new relationships, providing that you are proactive and dedicated.
As our ideal candidate you will have a solid background in sales or account management and will be able to demonstrate to how you have used sales/customer service strategies to achieve sales and margin growth. Due to the nature of our specialist product range, previous experience within or knowledge of the fastener industry is preferred however if you possess a willingness to learn then we can provide you with comprehensive product training!
In this autonomous role, exceptional organisational and time management skills are essential in order to ensure your territory is well serviced. As regular local travel is a fundamental element of this position, you will enjoy ‘getting out on the road’ and thrive on working smartly to achieve desired results.
