Roster - 4 weeks on & 2 weeks off
12 month contract

As part of an Australian government initiative, you will train skilled workers from Pacific Island Forum member countries in targeted industry sectors. Students graduate with Australian Qualifications improving their local, regional and international employment opportunities.
We currently have an immediate opportunity for a skilled trainer who has trade qualifications as a diesel fitter. With 5 years recent trade experience, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a strong commitment and experience in training, your skills and expertise will be highly regarded. To be successful in these challenging roles you will have proven group training experience, a demonstrated ability to unpack training modules, develop individual training plans, sign off on core competencies and have developed a number of different delivery strategies. A strong ability to undertake TVET activities to AQTF standards and a focus on reporting and attention to detail are essential.
You will have a demonstrated capacity to live and work effectively in remote environments with differing cultural values. Valid passport, strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills including well developed computer skills (Word / Excel) are essential.
